GlobWorld is more than just a safe and fun web community for kids. Our magical glob characters engage kids through interactive articles and features – prompting kids daily to share their opinions, thoughts, and creativity – while at the same time injecting a sense of wonder about math, science, nature, music, and more through hilariously entertaining content. Globs make kids the stars of the show! But above all else, globs encourage kids to treasure their own individuality, and appreciate the diversity in others.

“GlobSchool” saves teachers time and resources
We recently introduced the GlobSchool program to help teachers generate creative, educational collateral in support of important school initiatives. Just give us your standard materials related to Red Ribbon Week, Hispanic Heritage Month, Pinwheels for Peace and so forth, and we’ll give them a new, fun spin through our glob characters. It’s that simple – no extra work required for teachers!

GlobWorld offers a unique financial partnership opportunity for schools at the district and state level: 15% of all GlobWorld purchases (dolls, trading cards, premium subscription packages, etc.) from your members goes directly back to you!
It’s simple. Here’s how it works… When members from your school group join GlobWorld (registration is FREE), they’re given a unique code to input at the point of all GlobWorld purchases. Our system will automatically pull 15% off the top, and pay those proceeds back to your school association on a quarterly basis.

All user-generated content within GlobWorld (comments, forum discussions, profile questions, etc.) must first pass through human moderators before appearing live on the site. Our moderators take the utmost care to ensure no child reveals personally identifiable information, and that GlobWorld is free from cyberbullying and predators. GlobWorld is a fully COPPA compliant site (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act).

GlobWorld’s anti-bullying efforts
GlobWorld’s ongoing “Free to be!” initiative is a public service campaign that centers around the distribution of a collection of anti-bullying trading cards to schools throughout the country, at no cost to schools. Each card features a different glob character embodying a distinctly individual trait… “Free to be… wild!”; “Free to be… nerdy!”; “Silly…! Funky…! Fabulous…!”
The free trading card campaign is part of GlobWorld’s ongoing “Free to be!” mission statement, which aims to further the belief that only through accepting and celebrating what makes each of us unique individuals, children will more effectively move beyond the current culture of pervasive bullying.
To date, more than 27,000 students throughout the country have received “Free to be!” cards as part of our free program offered to educators. For more information, please see our “Free to be!” page.
